Bachelor of Pharmacy ( B. Pharma)

Bachelor of Pharmacy ( B. Pharma) is a four-year undergraduate program in which students study the methods and process of preparing drugs and how does the dispensing of medicine and drugs take place.

Objective of the ‘B. Pharma’ Course

The objective of the course is to equip a student with necessary skills as per following job role.

Eligibility for B. Pharma

The subject combination required in the qualifying examination (intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent) for admission to first year of different courses shall be as follows:

Compulsory Subjects: Physics & Chemistry

+

Any One Subjects: Mathematics/ Biology

For admission to the first year of B.Pharma, candidates must have passed Intermediate Examination of U.P. Board or its equivalent with Physics and Chemistry as Compulsory subjects along with Mathematics/ Biology subject.

Course Duration

B. Pharma stands for Bachelor of Pharmacy. It is a 4 years long undergraduate course.

After completing the course, graduates will obtain the ‘Bachelor of Pharmacy’ degree. After obtaining this degree, graduates may start practice as a Pharmacist
